Context
With an ever increasing demand from our users for a faster way to monitor and manage their cloud resources, the Oracle Cloud Platform team was focused on developing a mobile app that offers users a heuristic view of their cloud account. Our goal was to kickstart the initial adoption process, allowing users to onboard and take their cloud services along with them.
The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Mobile app is Oracle's first and core cloud management mobile product. As a product designer on the team, I led the initial research and design, and subsequent redesign efforts of the product, transitioning it from 0→1 stage, while ensuring that we offer a world class mobile experience to all our end users.
This effort has enabled Oracle to be in a strong position to compete with the existing market leaders like AWS and Azure in the cloud infrastructure space, providing a major boost to Oracle Cloud in their goal of reaching the visionary stage in the upcoming Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Cloud Platform.
